Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Obama Voter Protection Program on Election Day, November 4th!

We need qualified people to be poll observers on Election Day. Observers are volunteers for the Democratic Party who act as poll monitors to make sure that the law is followed. As an Observer we will train you and assign you to a polling place so that you can troubleshoot and report problems to us on Election Day. We also need Observers to oversee Early Voting!

We ask for about 8 hours of your time (or, ideally, your entire day) on Election Day. Depending on your location, we may ask you to travel to other areas of the state where Observers are most needed.

We will also be contacting those Ohio-based volunteers who live in certain targeted counties to ask that you sign up as county-paid Poll Workers, administering the Election Day process.
